Job Skills / Requirements Scioto Services of West Virginia is seeking a Special Services Business Development professional for the greater Parkersburg, WV and surrounding West Virginia area.

This position is responsible for closing new contractual business related to additional and or one-time special services.

The focus of our Special Services is primarily commercial but can include residential building restoration services of floor work, window washing, pressure washing, disinfecting and fogging services specifically to COVID-19 impacted customers, and emergency services to include natural disaster or biohazard clean-up.

Floor restoration consists of carpet cleaning, strip and wax, epoxy application, buffing and scrubbing.

The hired associate will focus on the key areas of development: floor restoration, disinfecting services and commercial/residential clean-up projects.

Interested candidates must be able to initiate contact through cold calling, set appointments, and maintain a high level of professionalism while executing sales, leading project work, managing the Specials team, and partnering with Operations, Human Resources and Sales.

This position is responsible for prospecting, writing proposals, negotiating, and developing long-term relationships.

Candidate must have flexibility, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, the ability to schedule projects, lead and direct the Specials team with regard to day-to-day operations across the state with a high level of initiative and customer satisfaction.

Time management, organizational skills, daily communication and frequent travel is required.

Candidate must possess willingness to assist on floor restoration and special service projects with knowledge and experience in chemical application.

Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of sales to include prospecting, cold calling and pricing.

1-3 years customer service in a service or labor industry.

1-3 years of project or personnel management in a customer service or labor industry.

Requirements: Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Hired associate must obtain a valid Driver”s License and successfully complete a standard background check, drug screen and motor vehicle check.

Salary Range: 40-45k per year with commission opportunities.
