Quality Control Supervisor

TROY Group, Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Wheeling, WV posted September 7, 2021.

The Quality Control Supervisor will specialize in carrying out and implementing systems and procedures that ensure product quality within the organization.

Primarily responsible for devising priorities and standards, managing schedules to coordinate with the production timeline, monitoring activities, coordinating with production and quality control personnel, assessing employee performance, and thoroughly discussing and documenting new systems and procedures for all staff.

Duties: * Supervise and mentor Quality Control team, while directly monitoring overall quality of production lines.* Responsible for maintenance and calibration of precision measuring instruments for production areas.* Develop and maintain measurements used in identifying and resolving deviations and variances.* Ensure accuracy and quality throughout operations by performing internal auditing.* Maintain documentation and perform capability studies of manufacturing equipment.

* Direct lesion to quality assurance representatives and project engineers.* Collect product samples and collaborate with R&D team.

* Monitor equipment to ensure operations conform to production and established processing standards.* non-conformance investigations to preserve compliance.* Perform testing, statistical analysis and prepare information and reporting for Director of Operations and R&D.

* Provide all necessary information related to method and stability data that satisfy requirements during audits.* Collaborate with various teams when a quality issue repeats itself and the initial corrective action did not eliminate the problem.* Condense data into clear and concise presentations and relay to upper management during company meetings.* Implement continuous quality improvements.* Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot.* Utilize analysis to implement product reliability improvements and reduce returns.* Review and approve manufacturing equipment/device procedures.* Assist in development of production standards to meet quality inspections.* Assist in the qualification of new products, including a design validation report.* Be a source to assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.* Selects products for Quality Control team to test products at specified stages in production process.

* Recommends improvement processes for existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality Requirements: * Must be able to communicate with other departments* Able to operate various types of test equipment.* Good organizational skills* Able to read and write schematics* Mastered analytical testing methods * Mastered inspection techniques* Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience * College degree preferred, or relevant experience and references in lieu of.

* Proficient in Windows Office Software.
