You will be accountable for sales of Process Automation Measurement & Analytics in Instrumentation, driving sales volumes and margins.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, East Region, you will be aggressively and profitably grow ABB’s instrumentation and analytical market share in the Southeast Region.

Focus on value messaging around applications for analyzers and instrumentation as well as training of Channel product drivers to move our core competence closer to customers.

Your responsibilities Responsible to meet / exceed the specific product sales targets for the Southeast Region Product Sales Driver will drive channel sales in of all specific product technologies to our focused markets Main task is to drive channel partners sales from a product, industry and solutions perspective, train channel partners to be the experts on the products and solutions, gain AVL approvals for key accounts in their region and drive large project pursuits within the region Develop and own your own 30, 60, 90 business plans and align with the mutual action planning between the industry Sales Managers and our Channel Partners Collaborate with Industry Sales Managers and other Regional Sales Specialists to support trade shows and customer events Participate in monthly cadence calls and quarterly reviews to report and deliver on 30, 60, 90 Industry business plan’s developmental efforts, opportunities and results Deliver “Voice of Customer” feedback to the Product Manufacturing Unit​ (PMU’s) and Product Management team to ensure our products and solutions consistently have the best value proposition in the market Collaborate with Industry sales managers to support channel partner e-commerce and web-based marketing efforts Act as a bridge between the factories and the industry and channel sales teams.

Familiarize yourself with your adjacent team member’s product offerings (i.e.

analytical, flow, level) enough to be able to promote benefits and hand off to the right person or channel partner.

Achieve this familiarity through taking applicable ABB e-learning courses from our extensive library.

Assist Industry Managers in providing input for quarterly Orders Commitment Spreadsheet (OCS) and budgeting process.

Support the Local Business Unit (LBU) Front end sales​ (FES) team core values.

Your background Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience.

Good time / activity and priority management skills.

Leverage your existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities to ABB.

Ability to develop and implement structured sales processes and strategies that improve efficiency and lead to winning.

Intense competitor knowledge; Passion for selling and winning.

Resilience to overcome rejection.

Obsessive focus on end users, their wants and needs, their goals and objectives, how they buy, how they maintain their equipment, how they partner with suppliers.

Ability to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners and our end users (from field personnel to corner office).

Solid understanding of instrumentation, level, analytical technology and markets.

Leverage your existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities to ABB.

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
