Areas of operations include, but are not limited to: West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The Sales Representative will work individually and/or as a part of a team to provide support to new and existing customer’s systems and components in various industries that may include, but are not limited to: Cellular, Public Safety, Energy, Mining, Concrete, Oil and Gas, Aggregate, Food & Drug, Private/ General Industry, etc.

The primary focus will be the generation of new opportunities for sales/ installation of LMR systems and components, ROIP, DAS and other telecommunication systems .

This position is results-oriented and candidates must be flexible and willing to work extended hours.

This position will require travel to customer sites with some over-night/out-of-town stay.

Job Responsibilities:+ Develop and execute a prospecting plan to cultivate new and existing customers; grow existing business + Provide technical knowledge and problem-solving resulting in new business+ Create and present proposals to customers with support from the operations team+ Coordinate customer projects, requirements and expectations with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction + Coordinate with Project Managers regarding job progress and forecasting+ Identify and pursue emerging opportunities in the market place+ Provide feedback and reporting to the management team relative to prospecting, leads and conversion rate+ Develop, cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with both existing and new customers+ Visit job sites and other locations to seek feedback and insight from customers regarding current and upcoming projects+ Identify new opportunities by researching industry related events, publications and announcements+ Work with Project and Product Managers to develop new opportunities within the customer baseOther Duties as Assigned by the Fire and Security Manager.

Job Qualifications: + Must have at least 2 years of Two-Way Radio/ Telecommunication sales experience+ Knowledge of municipal, industrial/commercial industries is preferred + Consistent sales performance, ability to organically grow business by providing solutions to current and new client base+ In depth understanding of various Telecommunication & LMR systems – To include but not be limited to: (Digital/ Analog, Kenwood, Motorola, iCOM, DAS) systems, installation and testing+ Proficient with computers+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Skill in dealing with the public in a manner which will facilitate any constructive problem solving possible.+ Excellent follow-up and organizational skills+ Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations.
