Technical Service Engineer – Additives

Technical Service Engineers support all direct accounts with all aspects of their operational and technical use of catalysts, absorbents and additives.
Key Responsibilities
Providing excellent technical services both proactively and in response to “emergencies” aimed at delivering long-term value for JM and the customer Developing and deploying the appropriate level of technical services for individual customers.

Developing sales opportunities with Regional Sales Managers.

Building and maintaining effective partnerships with customer stakeholders in an ethical and safe manner Providing advice to customers in reviews of project and investment plans for improvement of their production assets Utilising customer interactions to feed technical and market information back into the business to enable JM to enhance product offering Coordinating with Regional Sales Managers to ensure consistent global customer service Developing opportunities for the introduction of new products to customers Ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with JM code of ethics and EHS policy and practices Carrying out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Are you the ideal candidate?

Degree most likely in a scientific/technical discipline Background in refinery applications with specific expertise in Fluid Catalytic Cracking including a thorough understanding of FCC catalyst and additive technology.

Experience of operation of oil refineries, specifically FCC.

Proven technical service experience including complex negotiations Detailed understanding of technical product features of the Catalyst Technology product portfolio Significant customer services and technical support experience
