Supply Chain Planner


This is a Contract position in Martinsburg, WV posted September 12, 2021.

Summary: This position provides analytical support to the Global Network Capabilities (GNC) and Regional Planning teams.

The individual in this role also develops recommendations on Supply Chain optimization and Demand-Supply balancing for key supply chains.

Key Accountabilities: Partners with cross functional teams to drive CFR (case fill rate) and Inventory at optimal levels to support the business.

Collaborates with regional and global teams on assessment and allocation support.

Creates necessary tools and processes for both scalability and global alignment.

Works with large scale supply chain data analytics, including but not limited to: inventory data, purchase requirements, production schedules, distribution requirements, constrained demand, etc.

Develops and monitors Supply Chain optimization guidelines for key technologies & incorporating best-in-class planning policies.

Partners with the Global Strategy teams to identify key capacity and flexibility conditions enabling expected volume growth.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies: University Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Statistics or Business Administration Minimum of 3-5 years of Supply Chain or relevant experience (such as Supply Planning, Production Scheduling and/or inventory) Experience working in the Client industry Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies: Functional in SAP ECC and APO Strong in Microsoft Excel (such as pivot tables, vlookups, macros) Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience using PC-based applications (such as PowerPoint, Word and/or Access) Minimum of 3 to 5 years of demonstrated results and working in a team-based, cross functional environment Solid communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience in optimizing supply chains & Demand/Supply Planning Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization Strong understanding of Sales and Operations Planning Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands Ability to work within high-performing teams in highly collaborative environments Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPI’s Ownership mentality Job Requirements: Supply Planner
