From Mission Mondays, where 10% of our net proceeds go directly to local charitable organizations, to our long-standing partnership with Coprodeli USA, in which we are in the process of building 22 schools for impoverished communities in Peru, we are committed to giving back in meaningful ways to those in need.Position OverviewThe Social Media Coordinator, is responsible for overseeing the Companys Social Media Strategy and growing a social media team across all internal brands and platforms.

This includes, creating social media profiles, managing regular posts and responding to followers.

The individual must stay at the leading edge of industry trends, so they can create a marketing strategy that generates inbound leads, gains followers, and creates a positive image for the company.

They are also responsible for regularly evaluating the success of their marketing efforts and tweaking their marketing strategy as needed.

This role coordinates with the internal Brand Marketing, PR, Creative, Ecomm, Legal, and Executive teams to support the Companys mission.

The position involves ensuring our social broadcasting is fully integrated with all other efforts across the Companys portfolio, as well as managing the Central Social Media budget.

Job Requirements: Primary ResponsibilitiesCreate the social media strategy (including paid media), coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure its effectiveness and ensure the adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the companys products and servicesOwn the roadmap budget for the social media tools in use on the Companys sites, directing social media tool integrationCoordinate the planning of social media campaigns, ensuring customer acquisition and supporting monetization across the companys portfolioCoordinate partnerships with bloggers, influencers, and brand partnerships on social channels, which can be part of an integrated marketing strategySource and manage relationships with social monitoring and platform partners to support and develop commercial opportunitiesAct as the advocate of social media integration within the Company, influencing overall brand websites and business strategiesProvide benchmarks and analyze data provided by the Social Media Team, to inform company-wide decision-making and commercial campaign targets are metMonitor and comment on trends in social media trends and application, acting as company spokesperson within the Social Media industryMonitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments, become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan.

Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.Implement ongoing education in the social space to remain highly effective.Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company.

Report notable threats to appropriate management.Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns.

Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

Manage reporting process and cadence.

Create real-time social content in addition to branded content provided by the brands.

Attend events and key moments to capture content on behalf of the brands.

Qualifications: Desired Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.

(Give links to profiles as examples).Proficient in content marketing theory and application.Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.Maintains excellent writing and language skills.Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the companys field.Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.Practices superior time management.Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary.

(ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics.

Highly knowledgeable in the principles of Search and Social.Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution.Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.Desired Education and ExperiencePossesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing.

Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
